Mozambique, the MEGAFAUNA all year around

The diving in Mozambique is unique and the natural coral reefs are inhabited with a big variety of marine fauna. The dive site varies from 10-40m in depth and 1km to 12km in distance from launch site. Mozambique’s specialty is shark diving at the reef- Pinnacles. In season (Sep-April) you have the opportunity to have close encounters with some shark species such as: whalesharks, hammerheads, great white sharks, oceanic black- & whitetip sharks, bullsharks & silvertips!!

Besides all the shark species, Mozambique has a vast diversity of marine life that include whales, abundance of rays, endangered leatherback turtles, dolphins and even great macro!!

Things to remember while customizing your trip.....

Ponta do Ouro is best accessed through the Kosi Bay border. The border is approximately 630kms from Jo’burg and 460kms from Durban and is open 7 days a week (08h00 to 17h00). Between the border and the hotel a 4x4 vehicle is required due to the soft sandy roads. Should you not have one; transfers can be arranged.
